List your business in Google Local search results

You've set up a free Google account and started viewing your site traffic statistics using Google Analytics. What other tools are available to help ensure your site's success?

Help Customers Find You on Google Maps

If you have a brick and mortar location or just want to attract local customers, consider adding a free listing to the Google Local Business Center. The whole process only takes a few minutes and doesn't cost anything.

Quick Guide to Listing Your Business

  1. Go to the Google Maps Local Business Center and sign in with your Google Account.
  2. Click on the Add a New Business button on the right
  3. Fill in your business location information. You can drag the map marker to your exact address and even upload photos and video (from YouTube) to your listing.
  4. That's it! Click Finish. (You will need to validate your listing by phone or postcard with a PIN provided.)

After your listing is verified it should appear on Google Maps the next day. Follow the prompts if you also want to add a coupon to your listing. You can specify the offer and the expiration date, and visitors can either print out a coupon to use at your location or receive a code to use online or by phone.
