Customize your PayPal Checkout Page
You've set up your PayPal buy now or donate buttons, but when the shopper checks out they are taken to a boring, blue PayPal page. Did you know it is easy to customize your checkout page to match your website?
Here are the steps to take to change the look and feel of your checkout page:
- Log in to your PayPal account
- Go to My Account
- Choose Profile
- Under the third column, Selling Preferences, choose Custom Payment Page
- You can set up a new profile "theme" for your page or edit an existing one
Elements you can customize:
- Header image - you can upload a custom graphic header with your logo, phone number, images, tagline . . . whatever you want to match your site. Ask your designer to keep the image to 750x90 pixels max and upload the image to a secure server (ask us about purchasing an SSL certificate).
